ECONOMIC AND COMMERCIAL RELATIONS BETWEEN TÜRKİYE AND DENMARK, December 2022

Bilateral the trade volume between Türkiye and Denmark reached 2.4 billion USD (Import: 1.1 billion USD, Export: 1.3 billion USD) in 2021.

Sectors such as renewable energy, food processing, iron-steel products, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrics-electronics, contracting, chemicals, vehicles and sub-industry, pharmaceuticals, energy and agriculture stand out as areas where there is a potential to develop commercial cooperation between Türkiye and Denmark.

Currently, more than 700 Danish companies operate in the production and service sectors in Türkiye.

Denmark's foreign direct investments in our country are still at a limited level. Türkiye-Denmark Joint Economic and Trade Committee (JETCO) was established in 2013 to utilize the commercial and economic cooperation opportunities between the two countries. The latest (second edition) JETCO Meeting was held online on October 27, 2020.
